    Not completely deaf but...

Wirelessly posted And I wasn't looking for medical advice. I was hoping there were people out there who understood the frustrations I have. I still to this day get embarrassed when I ask someone to repeat themselves multiple times. It angers me when people think that I just decided to stop...

    Embarassing lip reading moments!

That's all they have ever done for me. And that's the thing. I am not completely deaf I still hear things like accents and mostly high pitch things. But because I'm not completely deaf doctors don't treat it the same. But I can tell you for sure my hearing has gotten worse in the past 4 years...

    Not completely deaf but...

Medical advice is good yes...but it also goo to have outside opinions. My dr can give me technical advice and medicate me for whatever reason but that doesn't help the mental side of things

Nobody has ever really payed attention to me not being able to hear things... It's just been place on the back burner and I'm the only one who has to deal with it. And I'm sorry but being an ass isn't helping either! I'd rather not hear from anybody than here from you. There's hearing loss in...

    Not completely deaf but...

Another thing... I can't enjoy concerts... The base makes a static noise sound that drives me insane... Any kind of base, the first time I noticed was at a Christian concert in high school. The only base I can handle is the max bass in my generic stereo system in my car

    Not completely deaf but...

Can't hear a lot of men's voices. Me being female makes it hard on relationships. My boyfriend thinks I zone him out but if I'm not paying attention I most likely won't hear him. I think my left ear is mostly deaf, my right ear can hear most higher pitched sounds but both deaf to low tones. I've...
