    Bonjour, Hola, Hello, Aloha!

Aw, I think it's super sweet of you to learn sign with your boyfriend. I think that's really the best way to learn is by having somebody to help you along the way. Especially for the visual learners out there. Congrats & Welcome! (:

    Hello. (:

Wow, my mom found out for me at 6 months old. She said that she was in the kitchen doing dishes & had me in a bouncer. My dad decided to test out his new shot gun without telling her... So, when he fired the first shot, she screamed & jumped 3 feet into the air. Plus breaking a few dishes, Lol...

Aw, I have to wear contacts cause glasses interfere with my hearing aids. They just love to make them squeal away! I don't like wearing glasses that much though cause if I look up or down, it's all blurry! But with contacts, I don't have that problem. Lol. =]P

    Hello. (:

Aw, thanks! Two boys are a handful! I got my man & my little boxer/bulldog that keep me busy... & a 3rd boy on the wayyy! I'm definitely the pink in this house of blue but it's all good. (: I think they'd be easier cause they aren't all into the make-up, etc. But they do make a lot of messes...

    Cochlear implant and childrens services

Yeah, they say that the cochlear implants aren't 100% proven to work. They do work for some & not for others. Which worries me... I wouldn't want to put all money & hope into something & it turn out to not even work!

I used to sign when I was younger in Michigan but when I moved down to NC, they didn't have any classes or anything. So, I got out of touch with it. But i'm definitely trying to get back in! I would love to teach my son if he wanted to learn it.

    Cochlear implant and childrens services

Ugh, I really hate when people do that... But I'm not sure how things work in your state but when I was in school (I just graduated recently.) They took care of my financial needs of my hearing aids here in NC. I didn't have to pay anything to get new tubes/ear molds/get them fixed/ etc...

    Cochlear implant and childrens services

It's YOUR child, not hers. I can understand her stating her opinions but there's a difference between stating it & being pushy about it. Honestly, I think you're making a good decision. If it was my son, I would definitely try out the hearing aids first & if they work, then why go through all...

  14. Taylor M

    Hello. (:

Helloooo! I'm Taylor & I was born with my hearing loss in both ears. I wear hearing aids full time. But I try not to let it get me down or in the way of life. I'm currently expecting a baby boy on the way. So, I got to be strong & show him no matter what... Life doesn't always go as...
