capti phone I have it and have been using it for several months. I make voice calls for all my appts etc. Haven't noticed a huge problem with the captions...a delay, some are missed but my phone tells me that it's mumbled..I just ask them to repeat it...I also use the caller ID and voice mail...

Am just north of Boston...was a patient at Mass Eye and ear for eons....guess I kinda led a sheltered life...never really have had contact with other deaf or HOH....my brother says I straddle 2 worlds....hearing and not.....

Newcomer from Mass here. I'm profoundly deaf (1 dead ear, 95 loss in other),read lips,do not sign but would like to learn. Would like to meet other HOH or deaf people and compare experiences.:wave:
