I really don't give a toss.The thing that irritates me is when some people do a divide between deaf and hearing world as if there are two separate places.
We're in the same world, mixed with different people with diverse experiences.

University is very hard and yes, it can be stressful at times which is the reason why I would like to focus on studying :). I'm only 19, not bothered about not having a boyfriend right now, I've got my whole life ahead of me.

I've been bought up in the hearing world so I had to learn to cope with communicating by talking. I also get along with many fabulous deaf people as well as hearing people. I never ever looked down at anyone who's not oral or signs. I feel thats...
I was brought up in the hearing world all my life, my whole family is hearing. I was born 14 weeks premature which is why I'm deaf now.
I wear two hearing aids; started wearing them when the doctor found out so I got them when I was 1 and half years old. I went to a hearing primary school...
No I talk. But I'm going to learn BSL as I find it really interesting! :) Also I'll need the skill to become a teacher of the deaf. What have you been up today :D?

I was born 14 weeks premature. The doctors thought I was alright and just had late hearing development until later I still couldn't hear so I got my hearing aids at 1 and half years old and obviously I didn't keep them in.
I couldn't talk until I was 5 or 6 years old so I was years and years...
