seriously?? a hearing person asking to get a CI confuses the hell out of me. they have all kinds of problems, infections and needing to be "re adjusted" and whatnot.. blah no ty. i would suggest talking to them and explaining how maybe they should become an interp instead of purposely...

:ty: Clark College is OK.. note-takers are volunteers from the class which i do, and what is C-Print? Clark provides interps for deaf students, they try to accommodate. Oh... I am not much for tech stuff. I think im a right-brain kinda person lol :)

oh... the people who feel that way should be understanding of people who chose NOT to get CI. it is a personal choice. i would LOVE that. god i would be STOKED if i had that much a month! i have to rent my extra room out just to make ends meet and i always end up with... less that desirable...

i get $694/month plus health "benefits". the health care sucks though. like...bad. BUT... i'm grateful that I at least HAVE health care. A lot of Americans don't so im lucky. Also, they wont let me work without putting my SSI/SSD on the line. I don't understand how they expect anyone to live...
