Hello, this is Dirk from Berlin, Capitol of Germany, EU. I´m deaf, little 5-10% hearing remained, I wear 2 superpower hearing aids (Siemens Infinity Pro SP), and understand only with lip reading. I have disability pass, and I can use public trans for no charge because I´m deaf.

Two I wear 2 hearing aids always, meanwhile the most powerful HAs.

Canditate for CI I´m profoundly deaf, too.. the next step would be a CI.

Super Power HAs I wear Unitron US 80 PPL hearing aids in both ears, they´re really loud :-o so I can understand a lot, eventhough I´m near to deafness. My ears are sore at the end of the day, but I want to hear. :cry:

HA s My hearing aids are those big and heavy ones, they hang behind both my ears all day long, up to 16 hours a day, they´ve very tight and deep because of the feedback, concha filled earmolds with thick walled tubes into it, :dizzy: they make my ears sore, but I wear them day after day so...

Hearing Aids I have to wear hearing aids all day long, otherwise I´m totally deaf.

I´m Dirk from Berlin, the Capitol of Germany EU, the country where the Mercedes, BMWs and Audis come from. I´m a grown up male with 90 % deafness (late deafened), so I cannot hear anything but loud sounds, I´m close to being deaf, I wear very loud super power hearing aids in both ears, soon...
