Hi Redmachchick! I'm a first year audiology student (so know I don't know everything). When you say 'nerve damage' what do you mean? I ask because if the nerve damage is at a certain point in your ear/hearing, a cochlear implant wouldn't work because the signal wouldn't get to your brain...
