Don't pick on me but I start Concord University on Jan. 22. My major is Social Work. I don't think I would ever want to transfer, but if Gallaudet University was closer I would definitely consider it... but, then again, I live in West Virginia... no way I'm moving that far! LOL!

Has anyone ever used this transcription service? I will be using this in college... where a lady goes to class with me and transcribes everything being said. Just wanting to know if anyone's used this or has information on it... I've visited the website, but there's not enough feedback on...

Sorry for being AWOL... but Concord U is in Athens, WV. They are very good from having met with them about accomodating D/HH students. My Rehab counselor (who is trying to reopen my case) said they are one of the best public colleges for D/HH accomodations. PS: Thanks for all the welcomes!

I'm hard-of-hearing, due to the fact that I wear a hearing aid. However, I am completely deaf since without my hearing I can only sense vibrations, unless there is a very high volume level of sound, but even then I can only make out so much of what is said, and the source is hard to pinpoint...
