    I think if the parent encourage them to cuss, they are not teaching them how to express their feelings to their peers. Those kids will only express it the way they know how.

    make friends with your classmates, they can be a big help when you are stuck with something. Go to your locate Vocational center (sp?) or any government funding for people with disabilies (ask around) they probably will provide you a FM system

    What approach should be used in the educational setting for deaf education?

    I think alot of oralist (sp?) deaf people have trouble communicating with other oralist deafs. Been there, done that. We basically just gave up on each other.

    I still use oral, I still don't know ASL. And I feel my speech is getting worst everyday because no one except my husband (which he is at work all the time) is communicating with me anymore.
