thanks! now i do have a question..i remember back when we were going to send him to the deaf preschool, they mentioned an fm system..i havent thought much about it since but i wonder if we had one, if he would hear me talk more clearly? i know he can hear, and i just bet if he could hear a tiny...

yep, he LOVES music..he still hasnt learned any signs but he does enjoy hearing baby songs and stuff, so that is something, right? he has also learned what "no" means..if hes messing with something, and i tell him no..he stops!

he is doing about the same, and that is good because i personally think he hears more than they think, or else hes adapted pretty well. he doesnt really respond to us talking to him but he does enjoy music.

i found them!!! i left them in the dehumidifying thing! thank god..and this is after we accidentally left them at the drs office the day before yesterday..i dont even remember putting them in there but i guess i did. yay! im doing ok..just very stressed, and pretty unhappy, to be honest..i...

i just hope i can find his damn hearing aids..i seriously cant remember where i put them!! and without them, he cant hear his baby music :(

well, the surgery went great..but i feel so guilty! he looks pitiful when he is attached to his feeding tube/iv pole thing. it is helping though..he is sleeping through the night more and is overall more content. right now i am in a frantic search for his hearing aids because i cant remember...

you know..i bet you could make those out of necklace pendents!

thanks everyone! i am not looking forward to it, but i AM looking forward to not having to obsess over his eating habits quite as much. its been very hard lately!!

thanks everyone! it sucks..but there isnt much else i can do..i cant bribe him to eat! at least its not like heart surgery or something really major.

yep..captain oral aversion is getting a feeding tube! the boy just wont eat..thank god hes a chub and hasnt gotten to the starved looking child stage, but it is still not good at all. we saw the geneticist..he was horribly vague and is doing a "microarray" and a test for fragile x..he said...

and i dont blame them..i know when i see a child who..well, different looking..i would cut my own arm off before saying "hey..your kid looks brain damaged, you need to have that checked out!" mainly, because one of my sons...oh man...he brought a friend over once, and i was 100 percent sure this...

we have a surgery consultation on wednesday for the feeding tube..i HATE doing that because sometimes he does eat, and hes isnt underweight, but i think as he gets older, and starts losing his baby fat, the little bit he is eating wont sustain him, and its a huge battle to get the bare minimum...
