I've worked in special education for approx 10 years now. We have often had to use harnesses for children with diagnosed behavioral difficulties. It is for the child's safety and protection. I agree with Jag that 2 hours alone on a bus for transportation is a very long time for a young child...

Thank you everyone. I went to visit her yesterday and she doesn't have very long. We're guessing just another day or day. She was non-responsive today. Everything happened so quickly. It's hard to see my father sad. He is always the strong one. :(

Yes, I agree. The whole thing just caught me off guard. I think it's impossible to educate those who do not wish to be educated. There will always exit intolerance, so I guess the only thing to do is take a stand at the moment and not tolerate it. I was just wondering if anything similar had...
