    Annoying ignorant hearing people stories

Looks like your boss forgot your deaf in that moment. I had some hearing people asking me if I can hear this or that or this, etc, usually loud noise like fireworks, plane, police siren, drill in ground, etc. I always say no I can't hear it, they look as don't believe me fully.

Numbers like thirteen/thirty, forteen/forty all way to nineteen/ninty. Some words like bat, cat, mat, sat, rat, pat, fat and hat.

Man accidentally kills self in front of children

Yeah, I watch bit too many TV programmes of rescue people in trouble and hurt by emergency services. If someone broke their hip or round that area or stabbed or shot it can very easily bleed fast and heavily inside and die.

Are deaf kids bullied/harrassed more frequently than hearing kids in mainstream?

I agree it totally awful and cruel for what Dixie went through. Those boys most likely would be arrested if it happened any girl good parents found out about it. My experience with bullies was really bad. Some parts what they did to me pop out my memory more than others like 4/5 girls hold me...

Are deaf kids bullied/harrassed more frequently than hearing kids in mainstream?

If parent knew their deaf kids are being bullied at school, I don't understand WHY they don't do something like move them to different school, etc? I was bullied at mainstream at primary years and it was bad, if hearing kid got bullied like me teachers would take it seriously and even police...

    This should be illegal too

I noticed that some reason freeview gives better subtitles than cable TV cos they more stable and cable TV drops too much words. Best is Sky, I have tried my grandparents and my aunt/uncle Sky and subtitles are fab!

    Hello from the UK!

Ah that makes much more sense! Thanks for reply. :) I think it harder to tell hearing people or people clueless about deafness how deaf you are if both ears are very different level than having both ears on same level.

    Hello from the UK!

Hey and welcome. Hope you enjoy here! I am not quite sure what you mean by this part about being profoundly deaf, don't wear hearing aids and rely on hearing you got left and lipreading. I can understand what you mean if you leave out hearing you got left part. I don't see how you hear without...

When you press play and adverts finish and press 'S' if it there near right corner bottom (it not always is) and it will work IF subtitles are available and it very rare on ITV Player. If you not sure where to contact BBC iPlayer then let me know cos I saved link to page to send report.
