I just recently started taking an additional ASL class at a neighboring church. I was informed last night that the Deaf club will be meeting on Saturday evening and I was invited to go. My question is, is it acceptable for me, as a hearing person, to attend the Deaf club? Should I go...

I have already found this site to be both useful and fun! I have already learned quite a bit by being here this short time.

Yeah like I said, I was 8 when I was last there, so I am sure things have changed ALOT! My Grandfather used to Pastor the church on Walker St. I would LOVE to go back and visit. But I really dont know when I would have the time, and I dont know anyone there anymore.

Does anyone know Mike Tuccelli? I met him at a Deaf confrence in Gainesville in November. I was wondering if any of the hearing people have taken his class at UF, or have bought any of his DVDs to help them learn ASL.
