I blast my music occasionally, but I never have the radio on when I'm in a vehicle with another person.

Oh, the sound that was supposively 'normal' was always setting off my H.A.'s all the time (the ones that had to be volume adjusted by the audiologist). The sounds, overall, are pretty much balanced, and i get all of em.

For my H.A. that I wear, I had the audiologist turn it down more than what's considered "Normal" for my hearing. I can't stand it.

i read the colors instead of the words easily. lol

I would rather be deaf. I'm halfway there.

But even though there could be a universal language, there would be so many dialects withen that language, that they would eventually branch off, slowly.

MY parents divorced when I was 8 or so. It was somewhat mutual between them. I don't recall anything bad from it, prolly didn't understand it. But I like the end result decently. (Speaking of which, i get to see my dad this afternoon, all week). He lives in PA now. (I live in AL)

Usually, someone has to create a Deaf ministry though, which seems to happen less often than I notice. I would gladly interpret church if I were capable of such.

I know what you mean about the phones not being loud enough. It sucks sometimes. Sometimes it's easier to take the phone and cram it against my ear than to deal with not setting off my hearing aid. Goodluck on the phone hunting!
