    I made a typo. I just figured out that 3 1/2 days is 42 hours, not 80. My fault. 24 hours times 3 1/2 days= 84 (I rounded it to 80) 12 hour-shift times 3 1/2 days= 42 hours.... that's the accurate answer

What are you thinking about? Part V

I'm thinking about how to swim out of a rip current. I went on the Yahoo Answers Basically, if you get caught in one, you should NEVER try to swim against it to get back to the shore. It's impossible. And, you'll drown from getting exhausted with making no progress. Always swim parallel to...

You're 100% right. I'm coming back to my common sense now. I can't believe I did that. I worked at a factory for 80 hours in a row (3 1/2 days) with sleep deprivation making billions and billions of products. It never stops. Those products. I should stay offline in-between work days when...

Has anyone read about the Esteem the new invisible implant?

Hey, I heard that the Envoy Medical acquired the All hear single electrode cochlear implant a couple of years ago (with plans to make it Totally Implantable). Whatever happened to that? If the Envoy Medical could get clinical trials going with the Totally Implantable cochlear implant (All Hear...

Is your hearing with your CI good enough to speak on the phone?

Yes. I can hear 95 to 100 percent on the phone (Freedom CI) even if it's windy outside right by the Atlantic ocean. Let's move on to the Invisible CI. Reason for Editing: I get mad about the Invisible CI never happening, so I say crazy things sometimes. I deleted the last two sentences LOL

eligible for cochlear implant and many questions

The Advanced Bionics and the Phonak... how long have they been business partners? Could they develop something like a Completely-In-Canal cochlear implant processor as the next product? I noticed that a lot of CI users with the AB state that they're relieved that the Neptune is off ears...

    New total invisible hearing implant?

I apologize for hollering like that. I am thankful that the C.I. technology exists, and the C.I. scientists did put a lot of work and effort into inventing it. They've done a good job. Again, I entirely apologize. I came out of a 14 hour shift with two hours of sleep when I wrote all...

    New total invisible hearing implant?

Thanks for asking. I notice that a lot of hearing impaired individuals with mild to severe hearing loss are always interested in I-T-E hearing aids/Lyrics/Envoy etc. The cochlear implant companies really need to widen their products and give more options to the profoundly deaf. The Hearing...
