    On a plus note, my daughter's been signing (a little more) recently! Yesterday she finished eating, looked me in the eye and signed "drink". I gave her the drink and she signed "thank you". :D

    Just to let you know, it's not a religious requirement in Islam to wear the hijab. I think it's cultural for the tuaregs--but it's the men who veil up, but I don't see many tuaregs wandering around.

    I have a similar problem. I am partially deaf and I don't know if I will go permanently Deaf. My wife and I both know Sign Language but we speak when we sign (though I sign more than my wife). I'm probably going to drop the voice, or use it less often.

    I think it'll be great when they do. They're both really good parents and their signing is pretty decent too.
