    Yeah, I strongly agree with Downing! Likewise, I'm only deaf employee at Naval base where about 5,000 civilians/contractors/military work! No problem... respect is the key and having postive attitude even in bad situations can greatly help.

    Yeah - after living in small town for 31+ years, I've forgotten how it can be in big cities! It's true about small town knowing anything going wrong.... One of other pros I forgot to mention... low crime in small town.

    It's possible to have good marriage & raise family - you just need to find a right person for yourself. Anything can be possible if you put enough efforts to learn skills & take classes, etc... as long as deafness doesn't get in the way. Good luck in your future endeavors!
