The communication barriers needs to come down, just because deaf people rely heavy on their vision for communication, it doesn't mean lip reading is the most effective way to communicate, not every deaf individual can lip read or speak, some do and some don't. Deaf people not born lip readers...

I would pick the other, I've worked two jobs before and I gonna tell you it made me miserable because I didn't have all the time in the world to spend with my boys and they've missed their mom.

He does have poor balance, he has trouble with balancing, we would have to hold him to keep him from falling over, he needs a lot of practice with improving balance.

If America has become more friendly to the deaf..... -then every deaf individual would have jobs and not having to gone through many hardships to get a job. -then deaf individuals would not be denied for an interpreter for doctor appointments, school meetings, etc. There are so many stories...

You definitely did the right thing RR! You had helped them understand the importance of safe sex, it's better than lecturing them to not have sex, because normally it doesn't help much. ;)

No, of course not. I can't believe someone would said that deafness is a disease, it can caused by sickness or disease or accidents or whatever, so therefore deafness is a symptom and not a disease. ;)
