Right now im trying to figure out what to do... weather look like it will rain tonite so no playtime outside. im doing researh to find out waht i an use to play with my 1 year old kid. (hm a key is broke ... the 3rd letter of ab_def... wont work. gah i gotta work on that now)

If you were to meet a genie and he can only give ONE wish... and he cannot grant any wishes that involves money like lottery or tax return or whatever that includes anything that normally would have cost you... what would u wish for? oh and genie is not a miracle healer or anything so cannot...

*nods* the problem is finding deaf AA meetings in real life is not easy. i found 2 but they are so far... about a hour away and i have a kid so that makes it even harder to attend..

yes and no. id love to be hearing if i do have ability to be able to understand everything without ton of training... especially when it comes to communicating with my boyfriend and children...but i love my life as a deaf person. i love the rich deaf culture and everything including beautiful...

how about time out? i do that whenever my son wont listen to my "NO!" LOL it doesnt happen often... only when hes really determined and it will be dangerous to him. how long time out is how old the kid... for example my son is 1 year old so i just hold him with arms being wrapped around so...

I have asked one member nicely to stop posting depressing threads and get cheerful ones and she got mad at me.... :( i think ill just look for good or cheerful news this weekend and post them instead. not gonna waste my time agrue with anybody.

why dont we have alcoholic anonymous here? or narcotics anonymous? the problem is people may come in and make fun of us or provoke us or something so maybe you may want to make it secured one... just a thought.

amen lol was just thinking of that when i saw your post.

if my child became deaf for one reason or other... i would be upset because that would mean he would go through hard time... however it would be nice because then we would have that special bond cuz we have same problem. I would never ever force anything on my child unless it is for his health...

lol i think it has to do with tv show itself... some shows its perfect on others its just messed up
