plain wrong the speach range is 79 to 85 dbs... so your pal has no clue what he is talking about. you can loose FREQUENCY...high pitch....low pitch and still hear voices....dbs has to do with volume... cat pur..40 dbs..human voice 83 (ave)..lawn mower 110.. jet plain 130... my last...
