Well if they are able to do that then they should be able to help people with spinal injuries walk and get people out of wheelchairs.

:( I do hope you feel better. I have sciatica and I get lower back pains bad from time to time. I take tramadol on a as needed basis when I do hurt, along with a naproxen. Ice packs do work wonders as well.

Kudos to GZ. People pull people out of wrecked vehicles on a daily basis. Will the news let us know when he is sited each time? I don't know about y'all, but I am sick of the media fueling this.

physical therapy helps me and followed by exercises they tell me to do. Sitting is bad for your back. Also being on the computer a lot isn't great either. y

 I do it for safety, Black or White. I always drive my car with my doors locked. I clutch my purse when I am in a crowded area. I get nervious when I am alone in an elevator with any male. It doesn't happen to only black people.

I know CVS refused to sell that issue. It is the choice of the cooperations or stores if they want to sell it or not. People still have the freedom to buy it, just not at certain stores.

Exactly, especially when a parent uses it for their own social status. Seems like they are hoping the child is deaf for their own personal gain. I never hoped for a boy or girl. I only hoped and wished for a healthy baby.

That is why I think it is selfish to hope for a deaf child. To keep up with the big "D" cultural status. That is about the only reason why they hope for deaf children.

I agree, I would not be devastated if they were deaf. I would expose them to both worlds. But I am not the type to "wish or hope" for my child to be deaf.

I will never wish for my children to be deaf. It was a fear of mine that they would be born deaf since I was born deaf. I thank goodness that they both ended up hearing. To hope or wish to have a deaf child is selfish.

Job placements for the ones that are able to work. I see too many people with abilities to use their two hands and they sit home milking the system dry.
