No offense, but laws and cops exist for a reason. Sure, sometimes cops are crooked and/or make mistakes as they are human like anyone else. However, if you feel that you were treated unfairly by this cop, you should attempt to reconcile this within the law, or else you are no better than him.

It seems to me there are a lot of lesbians on this forum. Don't get me wrong, I'm totally cool gay rights and stuff, it just seemed curious to me that so many lesbians would show up on one forum. Am I right?

Ug....last night my fiance was snoring soooooo loud I couldn't sleep and finally had to go out in the living room. It was very late by the time I got to sleep. Then, early in the morning, I awakened by construction outside..... I wish I was Deaf!!!!!!

OK. I think that is so aweful the experiences some of you are describing about people telling you to pray your Deafness away. If you enjoy sarcasm, and I do, perhaps you should respond by saying that that is how you became Deaf...by praying to God to make you Deaf so you wouldn't have to...

I am wondering if anyone here knows any ASL idioms. I have seen "train go sorry" but that is the only one anyone has ever shown me, and I know there has to be more, every language has them...

You know what I think is kinda sad? People are so up in arms over the abortion debate, that they waste their time arguing about it...instead, maybe we should look at the root of the matter. I think we could all agree, pro-life, pro-choice, whatever, that we'd be better off if there were less...

My fiance and I are big supporters of gay rights and so back in college we attended the LGBSTA meetings. One time a guy there reffered to my fiance as my "heterosexual life partner," which I found very funny :)

One of my dearest friends is Muslim, and she would never hurt a fly..nor would her family. Whenever I visit her house her family is so welcoming and nice to me.
