I'm just about 2 hours south of you.. :-) My dog's not a fan of the rain either.. I keep trying make sure she goes out when its not raining as hard or gotta use her rain coat! LoL Hoping the rain lets up... Its definitely delayed.. Its supposed to be May Flowers not May Showers.. April is over! ;)

Here is my mini daschund i got last summer for my daughter - she will be 1 year old some time next month. She uses a cat harness since she was too tiny or chews her way out of harness for small dogs. As you can see, she also has her rain coat for outside when it rains since she won't cooperate...

While hearing level starts declining, I still recommend grab the chance to learn sign language. After all, most old people start losing their hearing anyways. I've worked volunteer in a Deaf nursing home with few hearing residents there. Sometimes I think the Deaf residents were a little more...

Hmm... I'd have to find that video Keith Wann did about the comparison of boys and girls learning ASL.. Usually its women who want to learn languages especially sign language. While guys sometimes seem to want a more hands on career or where they like to be the boss or in charge of something...

Maybe use a calendar reminder like on Google Calendar or wherever to help remind for future? Or even make a notes on phone? :) Yes it might sometimes sound silly to make calendar date reservation in advance but it could help sometimes.. Like people's driver's license expiration date, etc! :)...

Even my daughter who's been Deaf since 3 years old had to figure out on her own how to use an interpreter. This is an one-on-one with a young child so yea it's still a learning process to figuring out how to use an interpreter. Its even tougher on the kid when there is no communication at home...
