Cuz there's nothing that declares playing online poker illegal. NOTHING. How the heck can I refer you to a law or whatever that says online poker is legal? There's plenty of sources that says online poker is legal but again, the credibility of the sources can be easily taken apart. Here's...

They didn't declare it illegal to play online poker. They charged the poker sites with bogus stuff such as bank fraud, money laundering in order to control the traffic to the major sites. They did this in order to set up an USA regulated gambling site. They had no chance competing against the...

You refer to the states law. This is very vague as there is 50 states. I stated earlier that the majority of the states don;t have any laws against online poker except for few.

Actually the sites are located outside of the USA which is why they don't take out taxes on the winnings. It is the players' responsibility to report their earnings. The actual reason why USA shut down the poker sites, is to form their own and have their "piece of the pie".

Not the age question. Next thing you're going to say is I'm too young, inexperienced, or haven't earned the wisdom, blah blah. Education/knowledge allows people to recognize opportunities when they arise. Lack of education/knowledge means they would probably miss out on tons of opportunities.

I wonder why the bolded part is?? Because they never bothered to learn how to plan their finances for purchasing their homes? Again, education/knowledge is the most important factor in those circumstances. You can argue society is preventing them from learning if you want. I understand that...

No, it is NOT illegal. There is zero federal laws against online poker, only few state laws. I guarantee you cannot come up with a federal law declaring online poker illegal anywhere. What website I play on is irrelevant.

This kind of reinforces my point. Placing the majority of your savings into one investment vehicle is just poor financial planning probably due to lack of knowledge/education.

    Racial Wealth Gap...

This statement doesn't make sense. How are the unskilled profession being punished? They don't have any skills thus are easily replaced. If a maid demands a higher wage, the maid would be let go, and replaced by someone who provides the same quality of work at cheaper rates. It's basic business...

    Racial Wealth Gap...

I disagree. People who don't attend college still can get skills that are highly valued. It's up to those people to obtain skills that will increase their earning potential. Maid/cooks don't usually require much skill to use, anyone could do those jobs which is why they get paid so low. For...

    Racial Wealth Gap...

No, I don't think the difference between income should be the same as wealth. Wealth represents how a person use their income to generate more more value. So basically two people with identical incomes could have the opposite amount of wealth because one person chose to invest wisely, and...

    Racial Wealth Gap...

I'm not trying to defend the disparity but I think there are some people who are misreading this article as median househould income. Wealth and Income are two very different things although they usually are correlated. Wealth = net worth which factors in income, assets like having a home, and...
