    Six-Legged Kitten Born in Florida

Maybe because of the health issues from all that extra blood going to a pair of useless legs. If Hex ever has to run for its life, the extra legs would slow it down. If I were the vet, I'd just cut it off enough to leave stumps so it won't bother the kitten, but... *shrug*

Deaf Women: What's Up With Them and Men?

From what I've seen, it's because they don't love the person as they are, they love him/her as they could be - and they try to "fix" or change him/her to fit that ideal. What they don't understand is, that's impossible. Some will change, but most will not - they'll resist it. I've heard of...

    Why Civil War Matters?

Thanks for the clarification, Calvin. :) I took American History from the beginnings to 1877. The teacher was very linear about the war, looking at various causes and the final cause that "broke the camel's back". Glad you liked the poem! :)

    Why Civil War Matters?

The Blue And The Gray Francis Miles Finch (1827-1907) By the flow of the inland river, Whence the fleets of iron have fled, Where the blades of the grave-grass quiver, Asleep are the ranks of the dead: Under the sod and the dew, Waiting the judgment-day...
