Premature baby not allowed to live under G.B. nationalized health care plan

That baby DID have a chance. Two other babies of similar age have survived without major health problems. So that baby should have at least been seen to. It was cruel what happened. Leaving the baby to die for an hour without even seeing to them simply based on the age. Nothing more nothing...

Premature baby not allowed to live under G.B. nationalized health care plan

Far from being an excuse for doing nothing about this baby, the fact she has miscaraged before and finally given birth to a live baby, which was just denied treatment makes it all the more cruel on the mothers part. They should have made every effort to save that babies life. Instead she was...

Premature baby not allowed to live under G.B. nationalized health care plan

Well I'd agree to that which is what happened here. The baby took a whole Hour to die. Simply from being withdrawn treatment. As far as I know the most premmie baby is doing ok at 21 weeks 6 days but unfortunately this poor baby was born on the wrong side of the atlantic so they were...

Parents sue to keep SD School for the Deaf open

What about sexual abuse at mainstream school? Or at special day schools? That does happen too you know. At one mainstream school the abuse got so bad that I had to leave and go to another school. Socially things were better there as there were other deaf kids. Academically, not so good as...

Premature baby not allowed to live under G.B. nationalized health care plan

You are assuming they will suffer but that isn't always the case. I sometimes have migraines and bad eye pain, but I am always glad that nobody decided I didn't have a right to life. EVERYONE should have that right. It's the euthanasisa argument all over again, but I really don't...

    FDA-Shocking Results on CI Statically

Premature baby not allowed to live under G.B. nationalized health care plan

Even so, this woman had a baby that could have been saved. Maybe Kokunot wants to use this as an example of our NHS service which isn't very good. Believe me. But it doesn't Everyone responds by saying that not saving babies is perfectly acceptable and our crappy NHS is perfect etc etc...

Premature baby not allowed to live under G.B. nationalized health care plan

I feel very sad about all this indifferance about this mother and her live baby who could have been saved, but wasn't. I'm glad that when I was born premature that nobody decided I wasn't worth saving. I'm just lucky to be alive I guess.

Premature baby not allowed to live under G.B. nationalized health care plan

Because the baby didn't die Naturally. She died due to NHS. I can understand exactly how that woman felt after my mom was treated while she was dying of cancer. She could have been saved but she wasn't. Same as this baby could have been saved but she wasnt.

Premature baby not allowed to live under G.B. nationalized health care plan

Yes, the reason they didn't do it was that they just didn't care about the baby. They were just following their regulations meant more to them then saving a life. I've read this story too, and believe me, that baby should have been saved. The fact the baby wasn't saved was totally unethnical...

San Francisco May Ban Declawing Cats

I'm against declawing too. Robin: I'm glad your cat has access to the outdoors. Here in Britain most people do this and get their cat a cat flap, although some don't which isn't so good because once out the cats are dependent of humans to allow them to go in and out. They can't choose for...

Levi said Palin wanted to quit governor

Not me. If the press weren't so keen to dish out the dirt on Sarah palin they wouldn't give him the time of day. To me he is not a very credible source of information.
