Some people are alergic to cows milk too. I'm one of them. That's why my health has improved since becoming vegan as I was lactose intolerant without even knowing it, but I was sick a lot and food gave an unpleasant after taste so I was a very fussy eater.

I eat both organic and none organic. Organic is best but sometimes I need non organic to get food with Vit B12 as organic food producers are not allowed to add supliments to their food.

You don't need to drink cows milk at all.

Soya is not bad for you. There were claims that it was, but lots of vegans manage on soya milk and they do just fine. It's best to use organic soya milk if possible, although any soya will do fine as long as it's not GM modified.

While that's true, it's not a reason to give up. Just do your best. I found veganism was hard at first but once I got the hang of it, I found that it is now part of my identity. Actually the diet is the easy part.
