That's what my audiologist asked too. No I am not using any chemicals of products.

My audiologist had no clue, she asked cochlear herself because she was curious, and they didn't tell her anything.

Once, some ass told me not to forget my bag with my implants shit inside. ( he knew me) and he literally said " don't forget your bag with your implant in it!" And I said "fuck off why don't you go tell someone not to forget their wheelchair or something"

Nope. Didn't leave it in sun or anything. I do have a box thing, the one that uses the dri-brik, could that be it?

This is precisely what happened to me. A CI is a big step, be sure it is the best option. then you got the problem of picking which type of CI.

Exactly how it happened to me. While mine was definitely worse, I would recommend a BTE, they are more comfortable and all.
