I like eating popcorn, especially buttered popcorn. But, I don't justify the cost for popcorn and coke, so I usually watch movies without any munchies. But, after a movie, I usually eat a large pizza, which I am sure is not very healthy anyway. :)

Oh, I hate when people spend too much time texting. I also hate when people use their phones when they are supposed to be spending time with you, etc. It seems rude. But, taking a phone away from a deaf person... She doesn't sound like a good wife. I would ask if your brother is happy, etc.

I agree that the UK version is still the best. But, if you think the US version is an embarrassment, then I can assume you haven't seen the Australian version. :) Considering the TGUS is still new, I think it will improve over time. IMO, the earlier episodes of TGUK was not as it is today...

Top Gear is one of my favourite TV shows even though I am not a petrol head. The US version of Top Gear was recently released. And, I have to admit, I am impressed. A lot of people in Oz seem to like it, too. What do you think about the show? Good? Bad? :)

I am not sure about the newer dvd players. My friend's Panasonic DVD player searches for updates "over the air". I also have an old, cheapo DVD player that could be updated by connecting the DVD player to the PC. I have never tried it though, because it is too much hassles. +1 :)

I can understand that it would be costly, but I also think it could also ultimately save money and increase service. A lot of shops/supermarkets have self-service nowadays, so it would be good if they can also implement the system to work for fast-food service. :) Or, how about this...
