I actually just used ZoomControl in my last period and it was AMAZING!! We were having a class discussion, and I especially noticed it working when there was someone talking directly behind me. It focused on only that voice even though I wasn't facing them. It was awesome :D

I love the light blue too! I like how it looks more in person rather than the picture that Phonak has on their website. And I pretty much always have my hair up because its just so annoying down! So showing it off a lot :) It is very comfortable, I even forget its there. I have soft molds...

Hi! I'm looking into going to UT for college.. Excited that I won't have to pay tuition due to my hearing loss!

However, for me to get a stapedectomy would be much riskier because my stapes is fixed from birth, not due to otosclerosis. I think there's something like a 45% chance of any complications and a 10% chance that I would lose my hearing completely. The numbers are a lot lower for otosclerosis patients

Definitely! I have only had them for about an hour or two, so of course my brain is trying to adjust. I'm actually getting sound in my left ear now, which I really wasn't before, so I'm getting used to hearing out of both now

I finally got my new hearing aids this morning!! So far they are so much better than my RICs! I absolutely LOVE the color!! I also got the ComPilot with TVLink and the new RemoteMic! Also, to note another thing, I read on a different thread that they only have the "triple click" battery door...

Right now I get so much more feedback from my left aid though, my right one just doesn't bother me nearly as much. I'm anxious to see how much feedback I'll get with my settings on my Naidas!

Even if there was, it would probably whistle like crazy!! My left one is maxed out right now and if I put my hand within 5 inches of my ear it starts whistling. (And I'm still not getting much benefit from that one) :roll:

Oh okay, because I am indeed getting the Naida S IXs, so that will be the same.. I'm really excited to try that out next Friday when I get them, because I've always been able to just get by on the phone in my right ear, but never hear anything on the phone unaided out of my left ear, so we'll...

So right now you have one UP and one SP? I almost did that with mine, but instead went with two SPs. I figured it would be two different types of batteries to keep up with...
