If you only have a mild loss in your better ear, I doubt that you would even be a candidate for CI. Most of the time, candidates have at least a severe loss in the better ear.

If your hearing loss is already severe and still going, it might be helpful to get BTEs with ear molds.. just saying. Soon that might be the only kind that would be beneficial to you. Give it a few weeks, and your ears won't feel plugged up anymore, it'll just feel normal.
