I wouldnt imaged that I leaving kids for a week or more without knowing how they are doing...... I would call or page or vp or email to keep in touch with my kids/babysitter etc.. if there's no connection.. there are ALWAYS find a way.. talk to some staff where to get in touch with.. etc...
