I know most ha's and ear molds and such are not covered in the states. I live in canada and in my province there is partial coverage through something called Assistive Devices Program and I have coverage as well through my work health benefits.

but remaining ON TOPIC... I use iCom through my hearing aids or beats Solo. They're not too big which is nice..I have a small head and face and the solos don't make me look or feel like I look stupid. The sound is also not bad and they get the job done.

Actually the whole point of the previous post is to say that NO I don't. I go to the gym religiously and listen to the music all the time...but thanks for coming out...

I agree...I have a "noise" program on mine and I don't find it's any better for noise than my everyday seeing as it just picks up noises and makes them louder..like doors slamming and drawers and stuff...I find it useless lol

ok maybe for YOU! I know MANY fit people who go to the gym everyday or every few days all the time who listen to music..i'm one of them..so that's your opinion. I don't care if you're a former fitness centre owner ...that means what..the people in YOUR gym aren't good at working out and...

actually a lot of people work out better while listening to music because they're not distracted by other people and what they're doing.

Technically the doctors office CAN refuse you by saying a pen and paper may be appropriate enough or written materials. I don't live IN the states so the ADA laws I've never seen before until I looked them up today... so basically the doctors office can say it's going to cause undue burden to...

Ya but just like if she was going to the hospital with him she shouldn't have to terp for him whether she's fluent or not. I wouldn't expect him to not be able to get a terp when she's in labour just because she can sign. It's situational..Personally I wouldn't want to have to sign everything...

I feel like if you were pregnant it's a bit different as SO's usually go to the appointments and in that situation a terp shuld be provided but not a regular doctors appt that doesn't concern him...

well that's awkward lol and ya I would have to hear everyone elses opinion on the ha and the new AB implant working together and how it works for them first before deciding! Plus apparently cochlear is also coming out with something new so we shall see...lol I have no rush since I have to...
