Do you believe Labels about expiration date of food, drinks, medicine, etc.

I'm the same way. Gotta be fresh! Same with other stuff in the fridge. It gets about a week or sooner if it starts moving around, it's history! :eek3:

    Tanning bed (solarium) ???

One of my cousin's tried a tanner at her neighbours. She thought it was neat but gave up after reading some magazines about the bad side effects. The wrinkling one is one that scared her. Her neighbour hasn't shown any bad signs yet and even gets complimented on her tan. My cousin had a...

    WOO HOO Classes!!!

That is cool! Our class also uses the Bravo (Sign Enhancers) video series and those are pretty good, although some signs on those videos have changed, such as the one for computer. I found a set of them (15 DVDs)on eBay and it was nice not having to be on a wait list at the college's library...

    PS3 is coming soon

Mon$ter cable are way overpriced and not the best. You're paying for marketing for those things. Most any cables will do. On another audio/video mboard, many recommend a site called monoprice.com for decent cables at a low cost.

    HD-DVD or Blu-ray?

I went to a couple of stores that had both HD discs and BD had more shelf space. Although I have an HD DVD on the Xbox, I'll still wait until the price comes down to get a dedicated unit to put in the rack. A couple of years from now those things will be a lot cheaper and you'll find those...

    The Subtitles Vs. Captions Debate/Poll

Way some of those actors look, might be better watching the CC over them! Like someone else in the thread mentioned, some of the new digital sets have transparent or even adjustable captioning, so if you want hot pink on a yellow block, you can set it that way!

The Benefits of Captioning for Hearing People

I noticed on one of the Spanish stations here have English CCs on some shows. Many pubs also use CC due to the high noise level or if they're playing loud music. One pub I was in one time the bartender decided to flip channels and hit a pr0n channel. Intesting reading there! :D

Is there any progressive DVD player with built in caption decoder?

That's true. Only thing I've seen with a built-in decoder is some satellite and cable boxes. For example the DirecTV HD box I have has one built in.

    Quick and easy

Time to bug vBulletin (the mboard's software) to add those in! :D

Is there any progressive DVD player with built in caption decoder?

You can try a Google search for one. I havn't seen a DVD player with a built in CC decoder, although many discs have sub-titles on them already.
