Yeah, my old Kindle 2 which my sister now has, has free 3G access but no wifi. My current Kindle 3 has wifi but no 3G. There is a K3 model you can buy with 3G + Wifi. It'd just depend on your needs... I rarely downloaded books over 3G with my Kindle 2 so I just went for the cheaper wifi-only K3...
Fisheyes have the circular distortion (also called barrel distortion) because their angle of view is so wide, compared to a lens with a smaller angle of view (but still wide like the 35mm f/1.4 you mentioned). They both ARE wide-angle lenses though.
I had the opportunity to use several medium format cameras in college, and I really loved the results I could get from them. The quality is stunning. (So are the price tags on these things! ;) )
Ansel Adams is almost universally loved by RIT photo professors. :P He did make fantastic...
I think what lana meant by cropping being a no-no is that a photographer shouldn't compose his or her photos thinking that they'll "just crop this later in photoshop" when they could frame it the way they want to in the first place, etc.
I agree, though, that sometimes cropping can't be...
Yeah, panoramas are FUN! I actually just got the PhotoSynth app on my iPhone, which does pretty decent panoramas. Of course, they're not perfect, but close enough for me!
They are a pain to stitch together in Photoshop, though. Haha.

Her feedback about composition is a bit vague, so I will refer you to a basic concept for photo composition that is tried and true - the rule of thirds. Of course, many photographers...
Oh boy... desserts are my weakness! Cheesecake is one of my top favorites though. Can't go wrong with a classic cheesecake with strawberry topping. YUM!
I also love peanut butter cookies, peanut butter pie, basically anything with peanut butter and chocolate ... you've won my affections!
Water For Elephants, at the theater. It was better than I expected, but on the other hand, I can barely remember the book. I suppose that helps, especially if there were changes to plot points, etc. Anyway, it was pretty good.
Slept in on my first day of summer vacation! Had a bowl of cereal and watched some morning TV, then got ready for the day. Played outside with my dog a bit, and started a new book (so nice to read things that AREN'T for class!). My dad came home early from work so we took Tucker to the dog park...

Thinking about getting a bike... Many good trails around here I wanna take advantage of. Problem is, I haven't had a bike in years and have no idea what to look for. Off to do some research...
