    Retention barrette?

You're welcome :) At first, I got pages for museums and stuff, too, but I scrolled down and went to the second page of results, and there was a Yahoo! Voices article about them. That's how I figured out the correct spelling of the product. I typed in the correct spelling, and it came right...

    What's your dinner tonight?

Salad, and I tried creme brulee for the first time! It's not my favorite, though...

NC or SC schools for the deaf??

Yes, I know that. :) We are trying to work with the school to figure out a solution. It is a pretty small school (AKA less than 300 students in grades 6-12), and since they don't have very many dhh students, or any special ed. students at all, they are, shall I say, kind of leery of...

    Retention barrette?

Is this what you're looking for? I typed in "hearing aid barrette" into google, found an article for the SafeNSound Barrettz, and then found the website. Here is a link to the actual ordering page for the SafeNSound Barrettz.

NC or SC schools for the deaf??

Hey, that sounds like MY local school district! They didn't even want to give me front-row seating in elem. school - said it was giving me "an unfair advantage". Yeah, right. And they wouldn't give me a notetaker in middle school, because they thought that I'd give the notes to other...

    Embarassing lip reading moments!

Oh gosh, TOO MANY stories to tell... But I'll share a few that happened today. This afternoon, I thought that my brother said "a**hole!", and I scolded him for talking like that on a Sunday, especially around his mother on Mother's Day. It turns out that he said "Dad's home!", not...

Bunnies balancing random stuff on their heads!

Haha, I'll have to convince my mother to make some onion rings soon, so I can see if Cinnamon will balance one on his head! :giggle: Or maybe I should try a tater tot... Tomorrow, I'm going to see if Cinnamon can balance a tube of chap stick, an empty medication bottle, an empty water bottle...

Bunnies balancing random stuff on their heads!

Haha :laugh2: It would look like a crown! Except that Cinnamon is a boy... well, guys can wear crowns, too! :D (I'm waiting for a guy to object to this...) I got the idea to try this from this adorable bunny: Oh, by the way, did you know that the rabbit in the picture, named Oolong, has...

Bunnies balancing random stuff on their heads!

Haha, probably! :laugh2: Actually, he LOVES posing like this. He does it naturally, even in his cage. You get a camera out, and he's a big ham. He gets treats, too, as a reward - and he does anything he can to get food! :giggle: The worst he could possibly do is pee on me - which he already does...

Bunnies balancing random stuff on their heads!

Hehe. Today, I discovered that one of my rabbits, Cinnamon, has a secret hidden talent... he can balance pretty much ANY object on his head! He will balance the object on his head for several minutes at a time - the most being around 5 to 7 minutes. It's sooooo cute! So, of course, I bring pics...

What are you thinking about? Part V

I'm thinking about my bunny, Cinnamon, who has recently learned how to balance random objects on his head for several minutes at a time. It's sooooo cute! Pics to come :)

    hearing aid insurance

Yep. I looked it up, and I think it's until age 22 that you can get new HAs every year, then after that, they consider you an adult. I'm 16, so I'm good to go for a while! :cool2:

    hearing aid insurance

Same here! :D Did you get yours completely covered? Wow. I was told that they would cover like $1,000 per ear per year for children/teens. (For a total of $2,000 a year) For adults, I think it's $1,000 per ear every 3 years, or something like that. Hey, at least they are covered at all...

NC or SC schools for the deaf??

Ditto that. In my local school district, which is a VERY small, rural school, there are two dhh students - me, and a girl in the grade below me. (Actually, I think there is one dhh elem. kid, too.) You get NOTHING except preferred seating. If you REALLY push, you MIGHT be able to get a terp, but...

    How are you feeling today?....

I'm counting down the days 'til school's over for the summer... 26 more days, including weekends! School ends on a Wednesday, and then the following Monday, I get to go to church camp! :D So I'm excited for that. I feel extremely brain fogged. I can't concentrate very much at all. UGH...

Scranton School for Deaf & Hard-of-Hearing Children will host a car show

Sounds fun. I might have gone if I were in that part of the state, but sadly, I'm not. Cool pics, C.C. :)
