I started 4th grade at CSDR and I think age is still too young. It should be around 6 or 7th grade for kids to live at dorm. Deal with bullies from older kids in the dorm and some of them were already u know puberty but not all of us were there yet.

I was put in oral program at 3 till 8 then oral program changed into TC with a deaf teacher (she was only deaf teacher I had and she taught me sign language) then I went to CSDR from 9 and half till 12. I shared with some older members years ago about it here on AD.

I was more happier at mainstream schools than being at deaf school. I graduated top 19th out of 500 kids there. If I stayed at CSDR, I would never pass Gallaudent college test. Alike I said CSDR or CSDB is not for everyone.

Do you know anyone who graduated from CSDR became teacher for the deaf? I do not know anyone nor have met one yet so far. Also kids need to pass exit exam for high school diploma.

Yeah TC started in late 1960's. Long story but education back then at CSDR were sucked.

Nice video. I am happy for them but CSDR is not for every one. I went there for few years and I hated it but that was back in 70's. I am hoping the education there today is much improvement than when I was there. I did not learn at all there.

Problems with skins of any fruits, they are filled with pesticide. Hard to find organic ones. I love skin of lemons too but wondering how much I had been consume them for many years with pesticides.
