I have Seasonal Affective Disorder in which I feel severely depressed from October-March, so moving to Arizona would be a good idea for me. I don't know if it will help my asthma and allergies, but it will definitely improve my mood.

dreama, If you don't want to have this procedure, you don't have to. However, saying that you think money should be spent elsewhere is selfish. If someone feels that having a bionic eye (or a CI) will improve their life, I say more power to them.

Exactly. That would be like me saying I know what it's like to be Deaf because ever since I had my second CI surgery I'm 100% deaf without my implants.

I've always wished that I could see MJ and Janet Jackson dance. I've heard that Janet was especially good.
