    Ahh, I understand, truthfully when you get news you're not expecting / don't want to hear you tend to forget everything that was in your head. Have you ever tried tinnitus relaxers? If any of them work for you, then you might be able to tell if the crackling is tinnitus or not. I'd mention it...

    Yeah I have the same problem, and I feel a bit excluded when there's whole programmes or channels without subtitles and deaf people can't watch the show even if they want to. I think that's why I don't watch tv, just programmes online, plus I don't like watching things with my hearing aids in...
