    Sorry to hear that, maybe you could try playing around with something called "GraphEdit" and see if you can get something working for your computer. This was the only way I could get dvr-ms files to play captioned on my computer.

    It depends on your video card and whether it supports line 21 output via the video-out port. What video card do you have?

    Right click on the following link and save it in your Zoomplayer/MediaGraph folder. Right Click - Save As This text file basically tells the video decoder to include closed captions when it decodes the mpeg video file. Hopefully this works.

    It says CC but I see only subtitles..

    Your DVD player probably doesn't pass the line 21 info (which contains the closed captions in normal broadcasts and dvds) to your television. Suffice to say, this really shouldn't happen and manufacturers should be making sure that they include this support in all of their products.

    If you use ZoomPlayer with a custom Mediagraph filter, you can view dvr-ms files with captions.
