i'm talking about pretty much anyone who puts up a "language" barrier and chooses to keep it up, (i'm not talking about anyone who absolutely can not do anything about it) people that choose to 1) cast out/get frustrated with anyone who doesn't speak it well, or don't speak it at all but still...

thanks so much! i'll definitely be postin updates about it when i start my classes! but i'm also kinda hesitant about it because i know alot of D/deaf people don't like terps. i just hope i don't give them further reason to feel that way... -hoping i don't suck-

That's actually how I got interesterd in ASL in the first place. Now I'm getting things ready to go to college to become a terp. :h5:

I'm starting to wish, more and more often, that I was hard of hearing, or even deaf, but that's another issue entirely. Those days, though, I plug in my headphones as well as I can to keep all outside sound out, and crank up the volume until I forget that I can hear, and everything just turns...

haha lol like any baby would! all the babies in my family love em. i hold my brand new baby cousin and he is out like a light in less than 10 minutes! and he fights worse than my brother used to!

my little brother used to fight my mom when it came to sleep but she'd always hand him to me cause i had(and i'm not bragging or being gross) a bigger softer chest. and what i did was lay him in my arms and pace slowly and while pacing, swing him gently but always kept him close to my chest...
