I read through the links on the thread thanks. I didn't understand it was such a common problem but I guess if one person has this idea than many others will.

The most personal questions I'm going to ask regarding childhood is how your parents decided to raise you. Either in mainstream schools or residential and with oralism and no sign. Things like that.

I've exhausted all of my resources. I went to school with a deaf girl and she bailed on me. And the 3 deaf students in my class have been asked by basically everyone so this is my last hope.
