It seems some of the dedicated TV streamers from the HA company work better and do not have a delay or a noticeable delay. But the straight Bluetooth method does seem to have a noticeable delay.

I hook up my streamer directly to the TV using a 50 foot cable and it works perfectly.

The only warning I will give about using bluetooth for the TV, there is usually a slight delay and the sounds may not sync up with the sounds coming from the TV and from the people talking on the screen. Some people find this very annoying. Almost like those old fashion kung-fu movies where...

It would depend on what type of hearing aid she has. I have a starkey which has a streamer device that allows you to talk into the mic on the streamer which goes directly to the user's hearing aid. No blutooth needed. But you would need to be using the Starkey hearing aid and get the surflink...

I just got the Motorola Droid Razr M phone and it is GREAT with my hearing aids. Rated a M4/T4 and works so good. Better than a land-line phone. I used to use t-coil all the time and still do a lot, but with this phone, I don't even have to use the t-coil (that's the M rating part)

There are several android versions, but it's not the BioAid. The problem with the Android version is that there is a delay. Not sure if there is a delay with the iPhone, but the reason BioAid was designed for the iPhone is because they claim there is no delay. Also, it is made pretty clear...

Make sure you keep that little white thing on the end (wax guard) clean. I have the same HA and one day one of them stopped working. After replacing the wax guard tip, everything was back to normal. Now I use a special vacuum to clean them every week or so. You can use the brush they give you...

No prices have NOT come down. between $2,000 to $3,000 is about the going rate for a good quality HA today. so $6,000 for the pair is pretty normal, maybe a little on the high end.
