I have found it very difficult at time in either "world/community" i am deaf. I have always had a complete hearing loss in one ear and nothing was ever done for it...and i over my lifetime have lost almost all the other ears hearing.....i now after years of hearing nothing have a baha...

doc would not do the sophono...no doc here would....i asked ALL of them

i am saying i am not sure if i like the implant... and i have Sensorineural hearing loss on one side and my bones of hearing are gone on the other side....so that side is conductive loss... I was just wondering if anyone else has had the baha...

okay, deaf in both ears. recieved a baha on one side...been 7 months, still hurts, still weeps...dont get me wrong i love being able to hear my grandson :0) ...still deaf when i have the processor off...but there are soooo many moments when i hate it..even when it hurts to wear it,i feel...

I had already been there 2+ years...it was their legal obligation to accomidate my needs...they did nothing...so when they fired me ...i reported them...I didnt sue them...although it did cross my mind, but in the end it would have been bad for my co-workers..they would have shut the branch down...
