honestly, I find that music is more powerful when it's interpreted. feeling the vibrations and watching the lyrics is just as good as listening to it.

After a great family vaca, I have a 9 hour ride home :( sitting in the back of a car with 5 other people that don't know asl and me being HOH, im miserable. I just wear my headphones, but they complain they can hear it because it's so loud! Someone should reply and be my friend so im not so lonely!

The legal system is definitely not fair to our community. many deaf/HOH people are arrested for "resisting arrest" if an officer calls them or tells them to do something and they don't hear it. I agree that policemen and women should know AT LEAST the alphabet. I'd join your movement! xD
