Wow, I like VPAD than VP-200, why?

Hi Guys!

wow, I like VPAD than VP-200, why?

I like TDD, I have three TDD for Den, Living room, and Bedroom,
one number phone to same time, but VP-200 can't 2 or more same time, must each ip address plus DMZ

I want ask my friends, he have two VPAD, I told him, I need test... one VSN each to both VPAD's Login, I test call him, wow both VPAD are flash light and ready click display each.. no need DMZ!!! I like it same TDD
 
Yes, I know, but I wish one call to multi VP-200 that why VP-200 is only single. If I get 3 VP-200 for Den, Living Room and Bedroom,

Single VP-200 - If who call me, I run downstair at Den from bedroom tired too bad!

Multi VP-200 (wish techoligy) - if ring me, I pick it very close, no tired at bedroom

I have three TDD for Den, Living room, Bedroom but VP-200 only at Den shit!
I don't want bring to living or bedroom

It's because of your ISP provide one ip-address. You would need to ask ISP to get another ip-address. It's possible custom ip-address on vp200.

where did you get VPAD?
I hate VP-200 because it won't let me change ip address....

Sorenson has nothing to do with IP address change, you have to call your IP provider ie. Cable company or DSL company to be able to do that.

Yup and you cannot change the ip address on the ip setting even if ISP provides you a secondary or third ip address.

Lots of us have 2 or 3 VPs in our home and we leases more ip address from our ISP but we cannot put them in VP-200 now since they locked the network setting so no way to setup up second or third VP.

Quite stupid move by Sorenson IMO.

CONS is buttons but wire mouse or plastic pen help than finger. Try to make your own sense and read carefully . i did struggled with it in 30 minute and accomplished with my read carefully . i heard many people struggled with the buttons. my finger do not need to touch on vpad's button . i will test it later when i get new wireless adapter this week. MVP-bill cramming ????
 
Technically impossible, does not matter how hard you try to set up. It will never work.

Do you know why?

Internet system is pretty much like US postal office system when it comes to addressing a property.

The rule for IP address is that no two devices can have same IP address, and it is universal rule that no one can challenge no matter how hard they want to challenge.

Again, the Internet system works pretty much the same way as U.S. Post office when it comes to deliver "packets". Image if two houses has same address, and the mail man must deliver a package addressed to these two houses, what can mailman do? They can't tear up the package and deliver both house, right? So what mail man can do? Return to the sender.

On other hand with TTY machine and telephone, it does not have protocol to follow and they used "switch" system, whatever is connected to the switch ends will rings and connected. The Telephone system is pretty much mechanical.

Finally, we all know technology does evolves constantly, maybe in future we will be able to have multiple VP ringing at same time like TTY, only time will tell.

He is right, most ISP will always automatically assigns you an IP address and will always change IP address, the main reason? To prevent you from doing business on the Internet, and if you want to do business, like Alex who owns this site need to get business plans which cost much more than residential plan.
If you change to VPAD just because of this, you will have surprise, same thing! These VRS companies have nothing to do with assigning you an IP address.

Misunderstand
I don't want change DMZ under router to multi-VP
VPAD don't need IP Address, one VSN (name) can put 2 or more on VPAD same time!! like Phone!

ugh, you probably would never reply my post in further.

Screen-touch is poor reply. So, need USB mouse and keyboard to get thing process better than have hard time to touch touch touch and touch on screen until it finally respond. Got it? I'm sure you never reply at all. I'm so mad.
