Hi there
My favourite names : Elena (how do you pronunce it in English ?) for a girl, and Leandro for a boy.

What are yours ?
 
I think this has been repost I am not sure.

I do have names in my mind but not saying any. If I happen get pregnant by accident, then no fun to surprise the name at birth.
 
Hilma....Audi....Iztel (Estelle)....Jayta....Cameron...Elaine
Guy names? ...whatever ... they are all morons.
That's my story and I'm stickin to it.
 
September 10th

I am expecting baby on Sept 10th... Refuse to know the gender of the baby until it pops out of my wife.

But I want a unqiue name for a girl and a boy. Of course keep it differently.

Any ideas?

Well, depends on what you're looking for?

I know some couples who like to keep their family with the same first letter.

Kinda like parents named Stephen and Stephanie having kids named Stacy, Samantha, Samuel, etc.

Or, do you want names that have meanings... or names that don't sound like jokes (Stephanie = Step On Me)?

I like my middle name which is Caden. Its Welsh and means 'spirit of battle'

Please please please do not name her or him Apple or Sailor or Scout ! :bowdown:

How different of a name do you want? You mean a rarely used name or a funky different name?

Im a huge history freak so I looked back in the past and found two of most powerful reigning women so named my daughters after them.

I have always loved that name Caden! Too bad I wont be having any more kids :giggle: My sister had twin boys recently and they are Maxmillian and Jackson - though these names are pretty cool too.

LOL... Rarely used and maybe funky. That easily stand alone name. For hence, my first name is Adan. It stand alone. If anyone ask... they will know its Adan as me. Easily to identify.

What are the two names that you named your daughter?

Margaret and Caroline :) In english version of Marguerite or Margarita and Carolina.

What about Eden? Your name is unusual so I get your drift. You want someone to automatically know you not go say Oh you mean Mike S., or Mike E., or Michelle W., or Michelle F. I feel sorry for these who are stuck with too common names! My name is not common so Im relieved :)

Perhaps look into nationality of yours and your wife and find something that is unique.

By the way, congratulations on your wife s pregnancy! I wish her a fun and healthy journey!

Thanks! 17 weeks as Yesterday... yikes! Gotta bring some greens to support the family. Grins!

I have thought of Ava, Emma, etc... But its becoming too popular. Oh well... still searching...

I love that name Emma but yes its become a trend :(

In each of my girls class, there are 4 Madelines! I do love that name too but golly no way.

I love the name Lily so named my dog Lily :)

I like rare names also! You can research on your and your wife's family tree and see if any name strike on your eyes? My son's name is popular in Hungry but not in America. Whew!

So wish you best of luck with your wife's pregnancy! I am sure you can come up with cool, and rare name. I would go to baby name and you'll see top 100 names and I would go to last 100 or find something that is not in the list.
