Brett Favre retires

It came as surprise but he's ending on a good note. Thanks for specular 17 years and we ll never you, Brett Favre.

:wiggle::wiggle: As a Die Hard Bears fan................YIPPPPPPEEEEE Bye bye Farve!!!!!

Are you smoking crack ? lamo

Packers are still good team wtih Rodgers as QB and Vikings are absolute joke with Travis Jackson as QB. Until Vikings find themselves a legit QB, they are still piece of trash.

 Vikings have Adrian Peterson to run over the Packers, who does the Packers have to run over the Vikings? Yeah, nobody so stfu!

Vikings haven't gotten to playoffs after Randy Moss left Vikings. Packers have been to playoffs more than Vikings in last few years.

Peterson is good RB but he can't make up for pathetic weak QB you have. Like Mr. T wld say, "I pity fools" who can't see beyond their flaws.

Read my sig. ;)

I know, dude, but he's just a great quarterback. I kinda want him to play for one more season and win Super Bowl.

Rodgers can probably lead the Packers smoothly since he played pretty good against the Cowboys, anyway.

(The Packers are my second favorite team, FYI)

New York Giants :rl:

Oh brother

Brett Favre made a bad choice. Last year was a well-preparation team for this year's SUPER BOWL. He has Super Bowl rings, break several sexy records, why should we worry about him. GO DOLPHINS!

Yep, saw it on the news, and he want to retire after playing for 17 long straight years. He needs a break. :)

Yep saw the news after Ocean txt me to be sure if it was true. I knew he was gonna retire anytime since he had been talking about it before. I never forget his father passed away and Farve came to play anyways. He did pretty good last season and made it to the playoffs and it was worth a shot. I was hoping to see him in the Superbowl, but oh well. Maybe Green Bay will take your Vikings' quaterback since you don't want him :giggle:

Yes he will need a break and be with his family. He wants to start a foundation for children.

Yeah this is news indeed.. but let's wait till summer time when we will know for sure Favre will indeed stick to his retirement and not call the Packers for a spot on the roster... then it would be all over for sure... so till then, wait and see how long till it is true or not... I'm sure on the other hand, Favre has done plenty enough and has led the Packers to the Super Bowl title back in 1996 and could have done it this year but got beaten by the eventual Super Bowl champions, New York Giants....

Yes, it was news to me hear about Favre retiring after reading DVDfreaker's post. I did text restless_heart to confirm if it was true. He did lead the Packers to playoffs unfortunately, he got beaten by the Giants :( He did put in some years with Packers and played hard.

I sure hope he enjoys his retirement to do whatever he wants spending time with family and golf hehehe
