I haven't talked to Melissa yet to find out what he does I know he is a player but I don't know the position on the team. he is getting married to his high school sweet heart this summer ( March 8th at a local southern baptist church) here in Cullman. He went to the University of Alabama and was the captain of the U.A. football team. He is from Hanceville Alabama just like me. Hanceville is in between Huntsville and Birmingham and the only thing you would now it for is our Lady of Angels Monostary where the "most blessed sacrament" is, whatever that is, I am not catholic so I don't have any idea, all I know is when you walk into the church everything is made of gold and very flashy. His Dad Tommy used to bounce me on his knee and use us as living footballs, we had so much fun. Vera his mom is and always has been really sweet, they are all huge though, Vera is over 6 foot tall and Melissa is 7 foot tall even, I mean they aren't fat or anything just amazon type built huge, and you couldn't ask for anybody sweeter than the whole family.

Thanks for the info , just wondering what to look for next season. I hope to see your best friend , brother, Wesley take on position on the field along with the other Patriot stars :)

I hope so too he is really talented. He is also huge! like I said tho the whole family is huge. Love 'em to death tho they are all like gentle giants all snuggly like teddy bears.

yeah he didn't want to live out there that far since his sweetie was at that time in the capitol as some sort of official assistant or something. She is assistant to the president of the University of Alabama now and the patriots let them get plenty of air miles to see each other. I don't know how it's going to work after they get married, maybe she will relocate up north somewhere to support him better? who knows! no none of them are deaf he just happens to be a kid I know. I grew up with the oldest of the siblings, Melissa, and didn't really even know him that well. there is a 7 year gap between me and him age wise so we were always trying to avoid getting stuck with babysitting him for free but he has turned out to be an awesome guy despite our efforts!

That's soo cool, you will be connected with a real life Patriots. I hope you can see their games how lucky you are. My dream is to see a game and meet the NE Patriots especially Brady #12.

My husband Tony is scanning in Wes's engagement announcement and I will post it as soon as it's done. when I get my wedding invitation I will scan that in. Melissa said she would definitely send me one. I will get more dirt and pics of him later on, they are kind of busy in rehab with Vera his mom, she got hurt at the stadium last football season @ Alabama, she was going real fast on one of the staff golf carts and fell off and hurt her head so they are all chipping in helping her out relearning some of her motor functions. her mind is fine but she has some small damage that is re-learn-able on her left side I think it was with her arm movement. Nothing she can't get over, docs say she will be 100% after rehab. his dad owns a recycling place just down the road from where they live on highway 31 in Hanceville. They are a huge influence on the town, they are very good people with very tender hearts. His 1st cousin also the same age as me and Melissa is Mandy. Mandy owns a little breakfast and lunch diner in Hanceville and is doing good. Mandy's mom Myra and Wesley's mom Vera are both school teachers at Hanceville where we all went and grew up. Melissa and mines graduating class only had 120 people to graduate in it and I think Wesley's was even smaller like 80 or 90 kids. Everybody in town knows the Britt's or knows of them here. Wesley will probably get the nickname preacher or something like that he is a very christain guy and very southern baptist guy with strong ties in church and community involvement. He said if he did make it big he would come back all the time and talk to the kids about making something of yourself and be proud of who you are and where you come from. he is very positive and happy and upbeat all the time.

That's great story, I sure hope his mom will have a smooth recovery and keep her in prayer. Its good the Britt family are well rounded and will be very proud of Wesley :)

WELCOME WESLEY!!!!! You would be so lucky to know this guy!!! Thank you for sharing a great story about Wesley and his sweetie. I hope she will move wherever he wants to go to be near the Patriots. What is he playing in the Patriots for? Linebacker, reciever, or ... Hope all is well with the wedding and everything. The people in south are wonderful people and very, very friendly...I have been there...

I heard one of the Red Skins player are going to the Patriots. Whoo hoo!!!! and got four more rookies from SF and maybe Dolphins so far...mmmm...

I am looking forward to the next season. Patriots still number one!!! And again welcome Wesley!!! I hope he enjoys the Patriots' dynasty....:giggle:

What are you getting at? We were not talking about the last season. Football is over. Get over it. We were talking about the next coming season. We had a history of 18-0, the best of NFL with 16-0 ending with Brady and Moss making their history. We are still proud of our Patriots no matter what, now how many wins did the Red Skins have won last year and the year before, did we ever say anything? No, of course not. It is a win or lose...it is just a game. We don't cry just because we don't get 19-0. This thread is about welcoming Wesley to our Patriots. End of story.

!! is he deaf?

I asked but no one answered my question  I googled his name and nowhere mention about his deafness. So I m assuming he s hearing and happened to have deaf family members.

I don't think this is necessary :ugh3:

OKKK. Mods can remove this picture.

Sorry to burst your bubble. Pats are under investigation right now and Billchick may face one year suspension.

Kids, remember cheaters do not win and God frown at cheaters.
