Hillary or Obama?

Would you want live under uninsured? If you don't have job then you would get other system, even better extending than existing medicaid/medicare, who knows?

I don't mind if I was uninsured as long as I choose it. I am more liberal toward this issue.

I think Hillary plan would be pay by government + companies (if possible) + you, even would be paid by subtract on payroll, it's not very big and would make more Americans to offers health center without any worrying, some of surgeries aren't covered by government, such as medicare/medicaid.

I said too earlier to make negative against her, just wait and see about how would work.

Yeah, but if she continue keep her plan for the health insurance, I will refuse to vote for her as long as she keep that plan.

I'll try again.

Can any supporters of Hillary or Obama please answer my previous posts? What, other than Hillary's health care plan, is the reason that you support the candidate?

Which one is capable of being Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces?

What are their plans for the economy, illegal aliens, border control, and the war on terror?

Well Reba, I would love to answer your questions but I am still un-decided who I am voting for in the general election even though I already voted in the mail for our State's primary. Also, I don't like to divulge who I am voting for as I don't necessairly believe it is anyone's business.

But I thought I would give you both candidates website......

I'm not trying to be nosy. :P

I'm really asking this of people who have publicly (on AD) professed support for Hillary or Obama. I'm just asking for their reasons for supporting those two candidates.

So far, the majority responses seem to be Hillary is a woman, Hillary has a health care plan, Obama is black and young, and neither one is a white male Republican. Wow, such deep analysis!

Reba, maybe that's all there is. :giggle:

And this puts me in a tizzy; cuz now I really have ELECTILE (watch the spelling, lol) dysfunction! Should I stay home on election day?
That's up to you. I'm going to the polls on election day.

Maybe there's a pill you can take for that problem. ;)

So, Reba, if by election day, you see no one you like for the Presidency, will you leave it void?

I am sorry it happened to u but Hillary is not you. Another thing how do u know your husband is faithful and loyality to u 100 percent?

I based the decision to marry my second husband on his beliefs and his fathers track record of complete faithfulness and fidelity. My father in law was in world war 2 and is an Iwo Jima survivor. He left his child hood sweet heart and remained faithful to her while he served our courtry in a very grueling and cruel war. He came home and married her and they have been married more than 60 years now. He has always been a man of honor and a man of his word. So have his children. He says he was never unfaithful to his wife, he tells his children to be faithful and he tells his grandchildren to be faithful. I believe him and I believe in my husband.
He has proven his faithfulness and honesty to me for nearly 25 years. Hilary and Bill have proven themselves untrustworthy. Hillary and Bill have said they, "Loath the Military". I do not want to trust my country to people who can't stand the military. They would gut it and leave us defenseless against terrorists. Honestly if a couple can not respect each other enough to be faithful to each other for the small amount of time they held public office, if they can't control themselves, (and Hillary was no saint either) then HOW CAN They run a country?

God bless your father in law for defend our country so was my dad who died 25 years ago to cancer which I believed caused by war in Europe. My father loved my mother so much but he had problem with post trauma from war and he became alcoholic. Lucky for me he stopped drink few years before I was born so I do know how I feel about people who drink. I hate people who drink and drive, Bush was one of them. I do have problem with bush run our country as an alcoholic. People do not mind this but I do. That is how I feel, okay. As for faithful I am glad you found your right man so am I but I have watched my close friends to this problems and I understood why. For example my close friend who is a woman, she needs a man who love her and give her all kind of affection but her husband is not well and did not give her u know s@$ for many months. so she ended up had an affair. Of course I was shocked then I keep my mind open and understood why she had this problem and her husband forgave her because he is part blame for drive her away. He is good man but weak as husbnad who does not give her what she needs. To this day both still married and I told her "why should u leave your husband who is good man and did not harm u and go find another man to satsify your need." Her husband knew her affair and he did not left her because he knew he has problem. Now with Hillary, I do not know what their sex life is alike, maybe nil who knows. Marriage is not easy for many people so I can not judge anyone who went thru like this. U do mind this because u suffered once by your first unfaithfull husband.

As for Hillary as our leader of country, I think she will do well protect our country. Many women around world did well job as leader of their country.

I appreciate your honest.

How about Obama?
He is a rock star, not horse worker.

What's his position on taxes, the economy, border security, illegal aliens, terrorism, etc.?
He did not tell much so I am waiting on this one.

Do you think he's qualified to be the military's Commander in Chief? Nope, he probably will nuke them.

What is his management experience?
Not sure on this one, yet.

Is there any other reason to elect her?

What is her plan for the national economy?

What is her plan for border security?

What is her plan for illegal aliens?

What is her plan for dealing with terrorists?

What is her plan for the war in Iraq?

What is her management experience?

Do you think she is qualified to be the military's Commander in Chief?

Does she know how to appear strong to foreign leaders without crying or whining?

Or is she just a one-trick pony?

Number one is yes.
Number two she probably will tax weatlhy just alike democrat always do which I want it iand to lower tax middle class.
Number three, I do not see Bush done much for border and probably will pass problem to her which I suspect Mexican presdient and President Bush had agreement without public know.
Number four, not sure yet.
Number five, Bush failed to find him and I am sure she will fight terriosts just alike any president do. That is President job.
Number six, she may or may not keep our GI there but I do know she will help Iraq as best as she can. It is our mess now that Bush made mistake and should never send war to Iraq in first place.
Number seven, yes. She has more experiences and train skill to led our country.
Number eight, yes she will be a first ever woman as military commander in cheif.
Number nine, why would people call us women cry and whinng? Sexist thing to say

Thanks. I have a gut feeling about Hillary. My feelings on people have always been accurate. (I wish I had paid attention to them the first time I got married) I never said I was thrilled with Bush. He has disappointed me very much. But if I had a husband who was unfaithful as in the case you described above, and he was repentant, then it would be possible to forgive and start over. Bill is not and never was repentant. And Hillary is in my opinion and according to the many books I have read about her activities while in the White House, a very dishonest, mean, woman who treats those she considers beneath her, like dirt. I will worry and be in constant prayer for this nation if she is elected. In many ways it would be better if her husband were running. All he cares about is satisfying his own personal needs. She on the other hand is power mad.

I can understand your position on Bush. I too was impacted by drunk drivers.
My oldest brother was killed by a drunk driver when he was 17, while walking along the highway at night after they had gone to a movie. Drunk driving does not show good reasoning. Here is a link about my brother if any one would like to read. This is a response to a tribute done to my brother by Rod McKuen.
Rod McKuen - Flight Plan
I worried when Bush was elected, if a former alcoholic could stand up to the stress of the highest office in our land. Though I would prefer a Republican in office, I must say I would rather have Obama than Hillary.

That's quite a beautiful piece. Like you, I was impacted by drunk drivers too. My mother and grandmother were hit by a drunk driver back in October 1999. Somehow, they survived. They were hit as they were getting out of the car. my grandmother ended up being pinned under my parents' car. They had to lift the car to get the tire off her leg. But before she was pinned to the ground, she was holding onto the bumper for approximately 30 to 50 feet along while being impacted by the drunk driver. She let go before hitting the other car in front of her. Had she held on, her skull would had been crushed and died. She ended up with injuries to her legs, several stitches on her face, a broken nose and many, many big bruises all over her body.

She stayed in the hospital for a few weeks and came home, she lives in the basement but could not walk downstairs. So the insurance agency rented a hospital bed, walker and all the necessary equipments for her to use on the main floor of the house. It took her quite a while, but she actually made a full recovery. But she does experience pain from time to time, not a lot but a little at a time. The damaged and swollen muscles in her leg that was pinned under the tire is still there but she is able to do everything she was able to before the collision.

My mother was getting out of the car, but somehow ended up back in the car. She has no recollection of what happened between the bright headlights and then in the hospital. She bled from her head and yes, she suffered mild brain damage, a broken collar bone which has caused a lot of pain for her over the years and still do cause pain but she is used to it, it isn't as bad it used to be but it does hurt. I am just glad the brain damage was not severe or anything like that. She is the same person, but just somewhere affected at times. It affected me in a big way, her signing ability was not as good as it used to be. She can sign and understand what I say but sometimes I have to repeat and clarify what I am saying, but she is not simple-minded or anything like that. She's quite good at a lot of things.

If you took a look at the car, you would be baffled at how they survived. The car was completely destroyed. Had my mother been a few inches from where she was found in the car, she would had been... I can't even say it.

What really made my blood boiled was when the judge shared some sympathy toward the drunk driver and let him off the hook with no probation after 2 years of legal processing and all that. Unbelievable. Where was the sympathy toward my mother and grandmother?

What if they had not survived that very night? Would he be in jail? Especially when he already had a long rap sheet? That's what really got to me. Why would they let a man like him walk a free man and put the others' lives at stake?

(sigh)

Oh well.

My friends and I were talking about political stuff. We think that it would be good for Hillary or Obama to run the president.

We learned that it is a bad idea to build fences on the border between U.S. and Mexico. We know that a leader of Mexico (i.e. Mexico president) is well-known for a biggest political corruption. Here is what I found out: U.S. Corporations do not want Mexican people to come in our country because the companies want them to stay in Mexico because of cheap labor cost.

You know we have many American companies in Mexico for some 20 years. The big companies pay and convince U.S. President to build the fences on the border. I am very surprised about that. I was really support the Bush's idea to build one, but now, I am wrong. Ted Kennedy and some Texas farm owners are against the idea to build the fences.

I know what you mean. The guy that killed my brother was driving without a liscense or insurance because he had been caught 4 times before driving drunk. When they found him he was asleep in his bed at his home. If my high school teacher hadn't been driving behind him and had already taken his plate number, they may never had caught him. He was given 8 years, but only served two. I was told he committed suicide later. I am glad your family survived. It sure does make you wonder, what the judges have in mind, when they let people off with a slap on the wrist and others who may only need intervention or some helping hand, are locked up and the key is thrown away? It does not seem to make any sense. Like you said, oh well.

Actually, the drunk driver was driving on a suspended license and no insurance too as well. He had his 6 year old daughter with him too in the pick-up truck. But the daughter was taken by his ex-wife before the cops arrived. A few months later, he was busted with 600 lbs of pot in his car. What happened? They dropped the charges. Not only that, somebody also tampered with the police report on the car collision weakening the prosecutor's case against him.

SEE! What kind of dirty information do these scumbags have on judges and police and such? It has to be these people know dirt about officials and use that to get off. Grrrrrrr!
